I run Redhat 9.0 on x686 with a networked printer HP Laserjet 1300, which

Whenever I include a figurefloat [htbp] is written before the actual float. I
see from the latex export that lyx 1.2.3 exports figures as:
\begin{figure}[htbp].
Has anybody an idea of how to suppress the [htbp] output on the dvi ? Is there
