I've got an ERT for defining a shaded box with a line around it. I'm
trying to make my own environment for it, but I'm just not getting the
Preamble right.
In ERT at the start of a paragraph I have (shade is a color defined
elsewhere):
\fcolorbox{black}{black}{shade}{\parbox{\colum
Okay, I got it. FWIW, I think it's getting late and that I didn't have
the correct layout. Anyhow, I just put
\authorblockN{myriam abramson\\yadayada} \and
\authorblockN{some other author\\yadayada}
that works now.
Thanks anyway.

Hi!
How do I remove an equation labeling?
Clearing the label does not seem to do the trick.
Lyx 1.2.2
Thanks,

I am trying to make multiple authors in a .lyx paper with the IEEEtran
class with no success. The \and does not seem to work.
Here's a small example file that works with other document layouts
author.lyx
Description: author.lyx

I only get one version with To:user/Cc:list. The imap server must take
care of it I guess.
Thanks to John for the no

Yes, that works too (with umlauts, accents and more).
A small request to ease mail traffic...
When replying to a message from someone on the list, could everyone make
sure it's
To: person
CC: list
rather than
To: person, list
in which case "person" will get two copies of the same message.

I remember seeing a reference quite a while back on this list
to a lyx package for writing protocol or field diagrams. In
particular, I'm looking for something that can easily make diagrams
like this in the main document (minor variations are okay):

I'm quite new to lyx and now use version 1.2.3. Before I startet with

second page, except I put address before. Then it still is'nt lo

The Extended.lyx document is outdated.
You should just need to select "ae" font in the document dialog.

In LyX, Export -> PDF looks lousy on screen (though prints ok), unless
pslatex fonts are used (even then math/symbol fonts looks pixelised).
Export -> Postscript looks nice.
