Great, thanks it's working.
But it's hard for people who are blond.
I also tried to make the font of that chaptername small, I can put \small in the \def
or in the fancyhead[C], but... it's not working.
Latex is great, but hard to learn.
But by the time I'm a latex guru, I will implement all th

If you just want the chapter name in the heading, then won't the
"headings" pagestyle be sufficient? That's what I use and it works fine

Hi... is there a way to tell LaTeX/LyX to have a particular case for the

Open the document dialog, and add 'reqno' to the 'Extra options' field.

Jeroen.

Hi,
a question which I should be able to find myself... but I seem to be missing something.
In my fancyheader I want the chaptername, but when I use \chaptername or \thechapter,
I don't get the name of the chapter in my headings.
Which \chapter.. do I need for it?
Thanks in advance,
Jeroen.
Dear list,
I've followed the LyX User Guide in trying to embed LaTeX in my xfig
figures. But it doesn't work.
I get a blank space the size of the figure. The command line output of
view->ps says the name of my-figure.eps is not found, although the other
files are found in the temp dir. Is this so

Hello everyone,
I have a long document, including some coloured pictures. I would like to
print the coloured pages on a different printer.
In LyX I can only print into _one_ ps-file. How can I produce separate
ps-files for each page with Lyx? Or is there a way to split the whole ps-file
into pag

Hi all,
Here is my little problem:
I have my chapter titles written in big letters on a A5 paper. I'm using
a layout from
http://www.educat.hu-berlin.de/~voss/lyx/layouts/chapter.phtml
(the one with a huge 1 at the right and a line under)
with this added in my preamble (between the dashed lines):

Does Lyx automatically provide the LaTeX italic correction sequence (\/)
after every transition from italics back to regular font? If so, what
happens when I import a LaTeX document with a whole bunch of those
sequences already embedded? Will the effect be doubled?

I have installed Lyx for Windows (with MikTex and Cywin). Now, I would like
to create DVI and PDF -Files. How can I connect Lyx with viewer for each
file-format?
