I have win xp (home edn) on my notebook running exceed (v.6) hummingbird and the cygwin windows port of lyx 1.2.1. This runs fine. I'd recommend this as a possible solution. I also don't have any problems with exceed running other X applications. What version of exceed do you have? Rob #

Hi, I need to work on a latex system without T1 support. As a result, if I pdflatex a lyx generated tex file, I will get lots of error messages, unless I explicitly remove the line \usepackage[T1]{fontenc} Is there a way to tell lyx not to use T1 font encoding? Thanks. -- Bo Peng

See attachment. Is this waht you mean a nested list? I made it with Lyx 1.1.6fix4, making a list environment, typing 5 lines and then press alt-shift-rightarrow to increase depth of the sub-items. Note: pressing alt-shift-righarrow on the first line does not work, because in that case it wouldn
