Has anyone succeeded in installing lyx 1.2.1 on Redhat 6.2? If so,
exactly what RPMs were needed to satisfy the dependencies. I havem't
been able to get 1.2.1 installed on my 6.2 system.
Thanks for any help.

When I try to install lyx1.2.1 on my Redhat 6.2, I get the
following error:
libforms.so.088 is needed by lyx-1.2.1-1
libstdc++-libc6.1-2.so3 is needed by lyx-1.2.1-1
What rpm's do I need for this? I can't seem to find them on the lyx

it wasn't ready in time and has now missed the
Hello, LyX-users,
does anybody know if the support for listings package has improved in
1.2.x or even in the forthcoming 1.3?
I am beginning to use it in 1.1.6 and I have to apply lyx-code and
TeX-mode to use lstlisting, and to be allowed to input free spaces,
which is kind of annoying. I hea

Hello
I have a problem with the new Lyx version (1.2.0 or 1.2.1) on RedHat
7.3.
All is working well...except the ERT mode: I can't convert a selected
word in TeX mode ; it just open a new ERT box after the selected part of

José,
Many thanks for your help. I can get things to work now. The
sequence I use is
at command line: lyx foo.lyx
in Lyx: "File->Export->DOCBOOK"
at command line: db2dvi foo.sgml

In Lyx if I try "File->Export->PDF", db2dvi can't find the graphics file
