Hello, I downloaded the dropcaps and dropping files for the TEX-installation and installed everything in my local texmf file (/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex), after that I made texhash. But when I want to use dropcaps with lyx I can't get it working. What might that be? Can anyone help me? Thanks. Ru

Hello Otto, that's what I did, I also installed the eurofont in my TEX-Installation. If I'm working with the default font of lyx and the latex-preamble \usepackage{eurofont} it works fin though the eurosign which is generated seems a little bit strange. But if I include as mentioned at http://ww

pdflatex problem

Hi, I created an outline and put the commands \date{} and \thispagestyle{empty} and the dvi is allright. Then, if I make pdf file by using pdflatex, the date and page number are there. If I make pdf without pdflatex, then I don't have the date and page number appearing. Any idea what's wrong?
