Since I have upgraded Redhat7.1 to RedHat7.2
I lost the figure view in the text during editing.
Any hints or suggestions?
Thanks.

That works very nice.

Greetings,
When I create a letter-layout document and have no "My Address", the
closing and signature are flush left. But if I use a "My Address, the
closing and the signature move to the middle of the page.
Is there a way to keep them on the left in all cases?

Hi,
Dekel Tsur provides a package for this. Here is the page.
http://www.math.tau.ac.il/~dekelts/slides/
If you have any improvement, please let me know, as I am
trying to use it as well.

I did not find an answer in the documents:
The publisher wants the size of the body text 12*18.5cm, DINA4.
DINA4 is 21*29.7, therefore I set in document>layout>paper
papersize A4
margins top 6.2cm (29.7-18.5=11.2-5cm for bottom)
bottom 5cm
left4.5cm (21-12=9 >/2)

can u tell me how to insert page breaks in lyx ...
i want each section of mine to start on a new page ...
please help me .fast ..

I've just installed a new style which allows to manage one column
abstracts in a two-columns papers.
Doing that, I've got available the OneColAbstract paragraph style..
which is now at the top of my style-bar, instead of the "Standard"
entry.
It is quite annoying.
Can i fix that?
thanks, Giorgio
hi!
I'm writing a document of class article, using the geometry package.
I've defined my custom margins (2cm both left and right); however when I
print the postscript file, right margins are greater than the left ones
on the even pages and viceversa. I think it should be a sort of
"inheritance"
Hi,
I've already spoke about this question before, that is, the use of
LinuxDoc in Lyx.
The question is that LinuxDoc is so simplier to use than DocBook (by hand)
that this format has been chosen for editing documentation, but me and
some other would like to use Lyx.
So my question is simple: i
The references should be REFERENCES. I used, as proposed on the list
\AtBeginDocument{\renewcommand{\bibname}{REFERENCES}}
but it´s still References. What do I do wrongly?
I am using 1.1.6fix2, article style and in the preample
\usepackage[round,comma]{natbib}
%\usepackage{kluwer}
\date{}
%\ad
I could not get the multiple bib code (in my /bin/ directory) run before the
bibtex command, on Mandrake 8.1
This seems to be a problem arising from Mdk then.
However... Would you recommend 1.2.0 cvs, as I am writing my dissertation in
LyX?
Thanks,
Remzi
