Hi,
this is a quest for people using docbook lyx backend.
We intend to support docbook 4.1 in the next stable version. The
convertion will bring no cost to the users, since actually no lyx code
changes, only the exported docbook is different.
Is there anyone insterested in docbook 3.1 su

Hi,
I'm compiling lyx for use on several systems. Some of them aren't able to
use the /tmp directory in a manner that lyx would like. I was wondering if
there was a way to compile in an alternate tmp directory, or compile in it
not using a tmp directory at all. I am aware of the option \use_temp

Would the \frontmatter be the way I'd place a copyright page on the back of
the title page in a standard book? I know I could use Kona-script, but for
aesthetic reasons I want to use the Book document class, but place a
copyright on the back of the title page.
Thanks

Where does LyX store the temporary .bib files used when processing a
bibliography? I looked in the designated temp directory without
success.
I'm working with a latex expert here at the university to develop a LyX
dissertation template to match our guidelines and the .cls file she has

All is good now! I'm not sure what I have done.
Just play a little bit with texconfig, don't run texhash after, Reconfigure in Lyx,
Close it, open, and I have hyphenation in spanish... now i'm gonna try catalan.
Tomorrow I will ask about the harvard styles ;-)

Sorry Herbert I lost your mail, but I readed:

and wasn't useful to me :(
I executed texconfig -> hyphen -> latex (and appeared the same file I edited before:
/etc/texmf/language.dat)
I tried to edit /usr/share/texmf/tex/platex

For me LyX export the HTML into the same directory as my working

Hi
We just recently upgraded to lyx1.1.6fix3. Most glitches are solved. One is
still left.
We number our figures and tables like Section.Number. We do this by the
preamble entry magically provided by JMarc , years ago:
\renewcommand{\thefigure}{\thesection.\arabic{figure}}
This will number o
Hello,
did you execute a "texhash"(as root, if uou are using Unix/Linux)after
installation the babel package, after that you have to "reconfigure"
Lyx, shutdown and restart !?
Does this help?

Hello people!
I use Lyx, and I'm very happy with it.
My problem is with the hyphenation in spanish or catalan. I know i can put the special
character "hyphenation point", but this is mot what I want.
I don't know what to do for running babel. I edited /etc/texmf/languages adding
spanish and c
