Hello,
I know this question has been addressed before but there still is a
problem (for me at least) that I can't seem to resolve.
I want (me too) change the 'bibliography' for something else (say,
'references').
Now, I've tried every single variation (on a theme) that appear in the

Hi all,
This is really bizarre. My View->Postscript, View->Update->Postscript,
View->PDF, View->Update->PDF, View->DVI, and View->Update->DVI all show the
file as it was when I started LyX. To get an accurate view I must quit LyX
and then restart. I'm almost positive LyX used to update on the
Are there free versions of the baskerville font? Or does adobe hold the
universal copyright? What fonts are similar?
The reason I wanted Baskerville is I am tired of Times. The other fonts I'm
familiar with (Helvetica, Palatino, Garamond, etc.) all serve their purpose.
But I think they are a

Hello,
After successfully running lyx on Windows98 for over a year, I
am now trying to install lyx on windows 2000. Unfortunately, I cannot
get latex (Miktex) to run from lyx. Latex is never called, and no error
messages appear. Miktex's dvi view, yap is called successfully, although

Hello people, i am a student in engeneering trying to use lyx to write my
master thesis.
Although entusiast at the beginning of the journey (leaving "Word" behind
seemed so attractive) i am now loosing entusiasm over the inability to import
objects (tables, graphs etc..) from other applications
I can't find the "°" in math-mode on my keyboard (qwertz-latin1). So i
hat to switch off the math-mode type "°" and switch back to math-mode.
It's a little bit boaring.
I know it's possible to use textcomp. It is fine, but I rather use my
keycap "°" instead of typing "\textdegree".
Is there any re

I remember seeing a property called "inTitle" somewhere. That might be the
property that determines whether it's on the title page. I'm not sure of the
LaTeX equivalent.

This seems to be a problem upgrading to 1.1.6fix3 from 1.1.5?
As noted before apacite doesn't work properly with babel, I've set it up
so that I'm not using \usepackage{babel}, fine, citations work properly.
But sometimes I still get stung with captions. For example, on export
\caption{Kinem
yet another cosmetic question.
I use report koma script, and rigth now I have an interesting title pagem which
include the date, my name and the title.
In order to make it more interesting, I thought of adding an image and other
stuff, and I found the concept of nesting but that is not allowed w
Hello,
It's just for a proposition.
I've got some citation reference in my document and now,
I need to remove some of the citation references. The problem is that
I must locate the citation reference manually and, my document is huge.
So I propose a popup dialog for citation reference that allows

Hello,
I tried to create an index and I find a little problem with
lyx-1.1.6fix3.
At the end of the document, I add "insert index" and then, do an
export to postscript. Latex prints some errors due to latex
(no \printindex command defined).
It appears that a \usepackage{makeidx} is missing in th
