I got that message: mktexpk: `gsftopk ptmr8r 525' failed to make ptmr8r.525pk. xdvi.bin: Can't find font ptmr8r.525pk Character(s) will be left blank. where can I find the missing font ? ( pdf output is fine ) thanks for helping Michael

I had a rpm binary installed (on my Suse7.1) . After compiling lyx myself the error is gone :-) regards, Michael
