How do I separate a book manuscript into different include files?
I should have done it from the very begin, but I didn´t.
After having included many figures it became difficult to handle the fine
tuning of figure sizes, figure positions, etc since it takes quite some time
to reload the dvi pre
If I remember correctly, the original post also stated that this only
happened using apacite.sty.
I've pared the sequence to this:
1) In LyX, export a latex file: File -> Export -> LaTeX.
2) Open the whatever.tex file with your favorite text editor.
3) Remove the line: \usepackage{babel}.

I'm trying to understand the erratic behavior I get with lyx and
pybibliographic. I typed in the cites in pybliographic. That part is
fine.
I don't understand what lyx wants for configuration in 1.1.6fix1. I
don't think I'm supposed to follow the old advice to just put the pipe
line in ~/.lyx/

Sorry if the question was stupid or obvious... I know lots about some stuff
and nothing about other stuff. I Don't have time to be an expert... and
sometimes I don't know where in the documentation to look. One thing I still
don't understand is encoding. Thanks for the response.

I have absolutely no problem here, so it's probably local to you. I have
1.1.6fix1 too and teTeX (how to find out teTeX version?).

strange errors. But when changing the document to normal article The DVI

I'm writing a document in article AMS. When trying to view the DVI / PS I get
strange errors. But when changing the document to normal article The DVI
shows correct. I'm using 1.1.6fix1.

If you create a table into a another table cell...
when you are at a cell in that cell not is possible activate TEX mode
nor
change the size font.
Anybody know something about this problem?
