I am working with a series of large documents with relatively large numbers
of figures and complex captions. In LaTeX the caption command allows for a
figure or table list entry and heading argument, the latter the actual
caption in the text if it is different from the list entry. My question i

Hi everyone, How can I customize my keyboard map and my ispell checker on
Lyx?
I know that I need to change something on ~/.lyxrc, but I don't know
which.

Hi, I am trying to get lyx to convert .lyx files to other formats from
the command-line. I am using version 1.1.6fix1.
I have noticed the -i and -e command line options, but when I try:
lyx -i lyx karma.lyx -e latex
I get:
[ian@technic doc]$ lyx -i lyx karma.lyx -e latex
batch_command: buffer

what is the problem? Why I cannot see dvi and postscrips files?

I wanted to have a "trema" accent on a capital O
in a letter.
While accentuation TeX commands like {\'e} {\^o}, etc. work fine
{\"O} fails ...
How can I fix this ?
thanks

Hi,
I encountered a strange problem today -- and I couldn't fix it (only
with an unsatisfactory workaround). In a nutshell: LyX complains
about not finding a file (actually it complains that LaTeX complains
about not finding it...). But the style file that it cannot find is
in a valid directo

IV, etc and right at chapter one i need the page numbers start and go as 1,
2, ...
So I basicly need Roman and Arabic numbering...

Hi there,
the problem of Wahyu Nugroho is even worse with Mandrake. After eventually
finding a LyX rpm for Mandrake, the installation needed xforms, but
Mandrake provides no xforms. Therefore I installed one from SuSE. After
installing LyX, starting LyX complained about not finding libforms.0.89
Hi,
I have some problems to compile Lyx on my SGI (Irix 6.3), but don't want to
spent too much time to find out what doesn't work and why. Does somebody by
any change has precompiled binaries available for this platform?
thanks
