LyX 1.6 fix1 RPM doesn't seem to install LyX?

Hi, I've updated LyX (on RedHat 7 machine) from LyX 1.5.2 to 1.6n (latest version) but upon starting LyX the help file (I have the splash window turned off) says that the version is still 1.5.2. Yet RPM indicates (rpm -Uhv etc) that LyX 1.6.n is installed when I run it (the last time I used rpm
