Hi all,
I have just tried out the new LyX 1.1.6 and its new shiny integrated PDF
exporters, and I've found that the generated PDF documents have really ugly
fonts, close to unreadable in Acrobat Reader. I'm sure there's a way to fix
this ;-). Any hint?
TIA,
Arkaitz.
I attempted to build my own RPM by compiling from lyx-1.1.6-1.src.rpm.
The srpm is from ftp.sylvan.com. My system is a RedHat 7.0 with all available
bugfixes.
I have following (error) message:
.. -I../../boost -isystem /usr/X11R6/include -O2 -march=i386 -mcpu=i686 -c
formula.C
gcc -DHAVE_CON

Hello,
I'm using lyx-1.1.6 with an american keyboard (A Sun one), and I would like to
type accented characters.
With the previous version of LyX, I was typing the compose key and then two
characters (' and e to obtain é).
Now, with lyx-1.1.6 it does not longer work.

It seems you are not really awake right now.

Hi,
I started thinking about installint Lyx on my NT 4.0 maschine at wrk. At
home I have already installed Lyx-1.1.6 on my RH 7.0 maschine.
Recently I noticed that Lyx-1.1.5fix2 is available for windows whilst

Hi LyXers !
Allen's hint was the solution to the compiling problem. The make version
(that -apparently- worked fine for former releases) was not the right
one. Now with
GNU Make version 3.74 and
gcc version 2.95.1 19990816 (release)
but also using --with-included-string with ./configure, th

It uses our own version of the string C++ object, instead of the
standard one which is based on templates.
