Just downloaded the latest lyx-1.1.6pre3 and tried to compile it on my
RH7 system. This is updated frequently from Rawhide. Specifically this
system is running:
gcc-2.96-69
glibc-2.2-9
binutils-2.10.1.0.2-1
libsigc++-1.0.1-1
My configure is:
./configure --prefix=/usr --with-pspell

Pls upgrade your gcc, glibc and binutils to the latest one in Rawhide.
