However it is possible to do this from the command line but it will raise a window

I have two questions on this issue.

I have words in a document for which hyphenation does not work. In those
cases there are hyphens in the word which I don't want to have at the end of
the line.
example:

I've fixed a problem with the internationalization of that version. So now
you can set LANG=xx_XX or LANG=xx to whatever country code Lyx does support
to work with a nationalized version of Lyx on Win32!
