I installed ChkTeX for typesetting lint checking, and found that it did
not run when invoked from the LyX menu. I had installed ChkTeX, run

think of Extended as Extending, or a manual about extending the features

I have read my final proyect (writen with Lyx, see soon in
http://www.etsit.upm.es/~rclub/socios/julian/jnet/) three days ago, and
finished my studies (yaju).
Lyx is a wonderfull tool, and the better we can do is propagate this
feeling we have about it. I.e. don't forget to mention Lyx in th
fact is that, in my opinion, lyx is not known as it should. LaTeX/TeX are
great package, but LyX gives them the front end they deserve. LyX

produce images with StarOffice ( they come out as results of a Starcalc
sheet) and to include in the LyX file I can make tho things :
1) export directly in ps, but it's too large ( 3Mb)
2) save in tiff (200-300 Kb) and use tiff2
