Hello!
I am finishing one book of my mother (her biography), there will be two
editions (Croatian and English) and I would like to mention that the
book is prepared with Lyx & LaTeX, expressing our gratefullness to the
developers and the whole idea of free software.
How to do it properly? (Somet

If you want [3,4] then open the citation inset [3] and simply add your
",key_for_4" to that inset -- that is

Now I wonder... if it is this easy to use cut and paste buffer why do
we need the complexity of XConvertSelection?
Do we miss something by using XStoreBytes and XFetchBytes

I am writing a thesis in lyx and am trying to use the multipart
document feature.
I have set my master file and each chapter to be book (AMS).
Now if I try to print my master file I get the entire thesis. Good.
But if I try to print any indivual chapter I get an error because lyx
expects there

I have two facts (or similar theorem related styles) in

is not a latex problem.

If you use BibTex, you should use \& instead for example

Hope it helps

Hi,
I'm writing with Lyx 1.0.1.
I can enter what I want in the Label in Bibliography Item. But the character '&'
doesn't get displayed! I tried '&' and '&&' and more '&'s. Is this a feature? I
can't think of a reason why this character doesn't get displayed. Or is it
because of LaTex?
Thanks,
Has somebody experience with inscribing a bitmap figure with the same kind and
sized characters as used in the Lyx-text?

I would like to have two or more citations appear as citation
numbers in the text separated by a comma such as [3,4] and not
[3],[4].
Under Lyx if I insert citation 3, add a comma, and add citation 4, citation 3
disappears and I am left with 4 only. Is there a special feature how to achieve
this

Hello all,
I've run into a "behaviour" that hasn't occurred with previous versions of
lyx. After upgrading from 1.0.3 to 1.0.4, Lyx is now including extra
spaces in subscripts when a file is closed and reopened. For example:
\beta
z
becomes
\beta
z
^

Hi,
I just created :
lyx-1.0.4-1.i386.rpm
tetex-lyx-1.0.4-1.i386.rpm
on a RH5.1 system with the default egcs-1.0.2 compiler. These rpms should
work on all RH5.x machines.
I tried to download them into the "incoming" subdirectories of ftp.lyx.org
and ftp.devel.lyx.org, but I failed
