If I understand you right, it should be possible to enter, e.g. an 'รถ'

I've also run into the MicroImages X server problem (core dump).
I re-installed the VNC stuff on my machines and got exactly the same
problem with VNC.

Hi All,
if I put a footnote within a list that extends to more than one page,
LyX (ore rather LaTeX?!) always puts the footnote on the bottom of the
page where the list ends. That leads to footnotetext appearing on
different pages than the footnotemark. Is there any way to avoid this
behavior?

I've been trying to figure out why LyX core-dumps when I try to run it
with the display on a PC laptop running the MicroImages X-server. The
X-server works with other programs. When I start LyX, it displays,
then crashes with the messages:
BadFont (invalid Font parameter)
Abort (core dump
