Hi!
This is not a nice behavoir. You can enter at that position that the line
break should be a conrol+enter secence. That produces normaly the linefeed
command ("\\" in Latex) but in tables it produces a linefeed on the
screen. It isn't affecting the printed document.
Try it.

Hello all,
Just another data point...I'm running tetex on debian slink i486, and have
just compiled lyx 1.0.2. On a reasonably complex latex document (3 passes
through lates, 1 pass through bibtes, and some hand latex code), I *have
not* observed the bug. Using view dvi, changing the document and

latex runs fine. Then I

I'm creating tables of two columns where the first column is just a

the maximum width from the table layout dialog box, and it prints fine,

Could you tell me how can I put subscripts and superscripts?
I need to put that not in equations, but yes in units like

Thankyou

Hello,
It was probably discussed somewhere but I was not able to find it.

fashion: Y-X, where Y is the chapter number and X is the figure number in
the chapter. I need to be able to cross-reference to the table/figure and

I installed lyx 1.0.2 this morning and I wonder if there is a small

If I create a simple document (say, with one line: "This is the first
sentence.") and select View dvi, then the document looks fine.
If I then add more text (say, "This is the next sentence.") an

Hi!
I just compiled v. 1.0.2 as smoothly as usual :o)) , but I couldn't
figure out how to get the new feature for BibTeX files to work: how can
I get the entry list?
I tried with one of my .bib files as usual but couldn't see any entry
when I tried to insert a citation. What did I miss?
Thanks,
Please cc anwers to [EMAIL PROTECTED] too.
