I' switched from lyx 0.12.0 to lyx 1.0.0. Now I want to export some 0.12
documents using SGML 1.5 to with Export->Sgml. This works fine.
But if I run sgml2html on the file the sgml-parser generates errors,
which it did not when I used lyx 0.12
If I use View->Dvi of 1.0.0, lyx says:
sgml2

I finally managed to resolve the problem - you must be careful with newlines
if you want to write plain Tex !

what I like especially in Lyx is the ability to define 'layouts'. I have
already done several of them but I'd like to have more...:
1) Why not use the boxes which you can insert e.g. with Insert->cite? You
could specify them in a layout as "LabelType" or "LabelBox". This would

Do you want the writing to wrap around the picture or just be at the side?
If the latter then using a border-less table may be the answer otherwise

Hi,
I want to write text besides a picture. In tex I used to define a
minipage-enviroment - unfortunately I don't get the same results as in
plain latex...
Could you help me - I included an example lyx-File
