Using the 1.2.0cvs lyx version, open up .../doc/Tutorial.lyx,
1) scroll down to section 1.3.2, where there is a footnote.
2) Resize the LyX screen so that not all the footnote shows up (it goes off
the right edge of the screen).
3) Now, put the cursor insider the footnote inset, you can righ
