Given master.lyx and child.lyx (which can be blank or contain text). 1. Open child.lyx 2. Save under a different name -- say test.lyx 3. In test.lyx clear the master dependency (Document>Settings>Document Class) 4. Compile to pdf LyX 2.0.2 crashes (at least under Windows Vista) LyX 2.0.1 does
