I'm guessing that you are talking about export to html: for the file foo.sgml,
the generated file are foo.html, foo-1.
One more problem that I forgot,
when exporting from linuxdoc to dvi lyx hangs, probably because
latex ask some inputs and then lyx is suspended. Killing latex and taking
lyx again to background solves the problem.
