Then your lateX installation is broken or not installed. Check that you have TeXLive is correctly
installed and then reconfigure LyX.

LyX previous version had options to export to Postscript DVI and PDF.
NOT anymore though! The export options are blank and you cannot export
to anything.
This is serious as I cannot create hard copies of documents as the
Dates then change if I do it laterrrgghhh!
