Just for the record: Segfaults disappeared after updating to Qt 4.2.3
and therefore recompiling the whole of Qt.

Works fine for me (10.4.8 on PowerPC).
Could it be OS-related? Have you tried e.g. AppleJack to clean and
repair the system?
