The attached patch gets rid of these annoying gcc 4.8 compiler warnings pointing to boost (usued typedefs etc.). I have collected the fixed both from boost itself [1] and from the patchset used by Fedora for their boost RPMs [2]. I propose to commit this to 2.2-staging. The compiler noise is reall
