I may be misunderstanding, but this is the way I see it: There are semantic differences between the two. You generally want to "export" to anything that is not a native file format. Formats that the program knows how to both read and write, without any loss of content, can be "saved as" and "opene

a similar patch will be added to 1.2.2, but I don't see that functionality yet. I have attached a small patch that uses \htmladdnormallinkfoot from html.sty. This gives real HTML links for HTML output, and also includes the URL as a footnote in PS/PDF files. Thanks, Zach Garner [I'm sor
