Subject: Make master-buffer-update (and -view) compile current
Hi,
I was wondering if it would be possible to make master-buffer-update (and
-view) compile the current document when there is no master defined. It will
reduce the psychological overhead involved with remembering to press two
different shortcuts to achieve the same goal (compile the whole docu
I'm happy to report that the file drag & drop (from an explorer to lyx) is
working with 2.1.1 in Windows 8.1 64bit.

Hi,
File drag & drop does not work in 2.1.0 - while it works in 2.0.7.
I'm using Windows 8 64bit, and just installed 2.1.0.

Hi,
I'm working on beamer in LyX at the moment, and inputting BefingFrame and
EndFrame manually feels cumbersome, when I have to generate many slides. I
usually end up having empty BefingFrame and EndFrame and copy and paste it.
How about adding a new dropdown item Frame, which automatically inpu

"This is *the the* place I was talking about"
which often happens especially when I'm editing a document.
Thank you,

Thank you so much for the quick response!

Hi,
I think it would be better to allow Update Master Document command in
actual master document. Currently in order to update the master document, I
have to use "Update Master Document" in child documents, but if master
document is activated, I have to use "Update Document", which is confusing.
Hi,
It seems forward search does not work with child document; when I press the
hotkey, LyX says "Please, preview the document first", even if I did.
It works well after I preview the master document. However, since inverse
