It seems that the problem of not linking with libintl in systems with
gettext installed is back in lyx-1.1.6cvs. This is Slackware Linux 4.0
(with *lots* of hacking, but still libc5 :-).

I'm using LyX 1.1.4 in FreeBSD 3.4-RELEASE, XFree86 3.3.5 and XForms 0.88:

I compiled lyx 1.0.3 in the following environment: Slackware Linux version
3.4 (heavy modified), kernel 2.0.38, libc 5.4.46, gcc 2.7.2.3, XFree86
3.3.3.1 and Xforms 0.89. The attaced patch was necessary, because of small
