OK. It looks like a long and intense story

Just few days back more people agreed we should get rid of TR1, check threads
around "Re: [PATCH 1/3] Buffer.cpp: drop unused "

Please search the archives, it was long story why we don't support xdg-open.
Pavel
xdg-open tries to open a file with the "preferred" application of a
user for that file on Linux (which is usually the application that is
used when you double click on a file in your desktop environment). I
think the command "open" on Mac does the same thing. I'm guessing
there's a similar Windows

Glad to hear it

I've uploaded the packages here:

Hi,
what is the intended purpose of the LYX_USE_TR1_REGEX macro, in LyX
sources ?
Is it safe to assume that lyx::regex relies on boost regular expressions ?
If not, then is there any objection if I refer directly to boost::regex
within lyxfind.cpp ?
Thanks,
T.

Hi Andrew,
Please respond to the list.
Try running the following commands:
1. sudo apt-add-repository ppa:lyx-devel/dail

The official version 2.0.5 is coming soon. This bug is fixed then.
You can get the source tarball here: ht
Do you use Ubuntu? If so, Liviu Andronic and Rob Oakes have set up a PPA:
https://launchpad.net/~lyx-devel/+archive/daily
Respond (to the list) if you need instructions on how to set that up
(it's easy).
If you don't use Ubuntu, see the instructions in the source tar ball
for how to compile.
