E.g. it helps resolving symbols like _LSOpenFromRefSpec from the
ApplicationServices
framework and to resolve many objc references like _objc_ms

Uwe has done some development work with multicol v 1.7a where almost all
distributions still use v1.6h. Therefore Additional.lyx cannot be printed.
I strongly recommend not to do so.
