This is not KDE integration. It's just Qt using KDE's native dialog instead of
LyX's home-brewn, which has always been a bad compromise.

You never bothered me. Every comment is welcome and I have changed many things you suggested. I only
disagree with you in this certain point and hope that I've said it without being offending.

I just noticed a few minor errors in the patch.
www.ucc.asn.au/~mccabedj/keytest2.diff
is more correct.
I was thinking that this might

I do not understand the question. Why should we lose them? Instead of the
custom buttons, they will be accessible via the sidebar of the file dialog.

OK. I have changed keytest so that it splits out all the KEYCODES. I
can't reproduce anything at the moment, I imagine that I'll have to
play with the -delay parameter of xvkbd so keypresses don't randomly
go missing.
I have attached a patch. The patch isn't pretty, but the code wasn't
that pretty

hi,
we currently have "Reload document" enabled only when the document is marked as
changed. this has problems when something externally changes, eg file is
externally modified by svn or missing picture is downloaded. would it be ok,
if i let reload lfun enabled in all cases?
