I want to build a windows version of Lyx 1.6.
I'm trying to apply a patch to solve the problem of using jabref in Lyx
1.6 because in windows , the pipe is not supported.

Yes, but set LANG only for the current user. As far as I can see this is the only way to get it
working on all Windows setups.

1) Open a document with some typos.
2) hit F7 to launch the spellchecker.
3) when a typo is detected, click the down arrow on the 'Replacement' combo

I've been having Lyx segfaults while adding labels to equations(??). After
some playing with the editor, I managed to sort out the source of the
problem. Looks like Lyx does not like some characters.
For example, if I want to use ħ, instead of Ctrl+M \hbar , the editor will
