We made it into lwn. Although it now looks like I'm committed to
maintaining a "LyX Development News" summary every so often.

I hope that met with everyone's approval. If not you should have spoken
up sooner. I only made a minor addition to the list of things happening
in the transition period and adjusted the mention of the "fix" patches.
I made JMarcs patches sound more official than he did in his
announcement.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LyX is an advanced open-source document processor running on many Unix
platforms, OS/2 and on Windows NT with the Cygwin environment. It is
called a "document processor" because, unlike standard word processors,
LyX encourages an approach to writing based on the structure

No screams of protest heard so I'm sending this off in about an hour
-- I should have cleaned it up and got the various email addresses by
then.
So scream now before it's too late

That's what I'm thinking too. How do I CONFIRM that my xforms setup is proper?

Hi. I have always used TeX and LaTeX, but find using LyX alot of fun.
I have one question. I am trying to get LyX to recognize a new layout
specifically for the AGUplus classes). That's easy enough. But what
I really need to do is pass an option ultimately to the LaTeX
\documentclass command.
Guys:
I'm running Caldera OpenLinux 2.3 on an x86. I have xforms 0.88
installed, and I can send my config.log if need be.
I've built both LyX 1.1.3, 1.1.4, and the latest from CVS (as of this
morning), and I still get the same problem: segmentation fault.
I've attached my backtrace. Beyond th
Since the new painter now has been set as default in cvs, I'd be
grateful if you (yes, you), could take the time to try out the current
cvs, and report any problems related to the painter. These problems
will show themselves as lines/chars drawn incorrectly on screen, note
that the accentinset ar

I am glad to announce the availability of the LyX 1.1.4fix1 patch. See
the information enclosed below. One notable missing fix in this patch
is for the bibtex problems mentionned on the lyx-devel list. I hope to
fix that soon.

After some verification of dates, I have come up with this:
Second weekend in June will be just perfect.
(9.-11. + one day on each side if wanted)
We will have the meeting in Stokke, in my parents house.
This time the date is fixed.
And as a added bonus: if you stay one day longer you can sa

Looking into the makefile I mentioned that REGEX is set to 'lyxregex.h
regex.c' so regex.c is needed, too. But when compiling regex.c there should
exist regex.h because it is included. So I think you need rege
