What if I set up an automatic reply-to and mail-followup-to header for the
announce list pointing at a script that bounces back any message sent to it
with something:
please do not reply to any posts to the lyx-announce list. Please
use the lyx-devel or lyx-users lists.

I have margin notes in a LyX document that although they seem to be
saved and loaded within LyX fine, they are not showing up in the
generated dvi files. Examining the emitted LaTeX reveals that the
margin notes are not getting propogated.
