I've updated my AASTeX package to take advantage of the new ProvidesUrl
command. I noticed, however, that a LaTeX file I thought I had included
with an example LyX file was not present in 1.0.4pre2. Digging deeper, I
discovered that the makepatch routine in .../devel/tools specifically
ignore

1. open mathpanel
2. bring up one of the subpanels with symbols
3. close the mathpanel with the close button of the window itself (and
not mathpanel's "Close <-'" button)
