number, 13.10 was intended! So that should have said:

Why is still R version 2.15.2 in the repositories? Today version 3.0.1 is
available and I tried to download and install it from
http://cran.rstudio.com/ . However, I do not get the same functionality as
with the similar version installed under Microsoft Windows, so I presently
run R under
