yes,
man is the built in MANUAL.
You can use it to find out information about virtually everything.
There are lots of other really useful commands, such as
locate
If you want lots of streaming info across your screen try
locate man
locate cat
l

Turns out that "man man" is no laughing matter, first of all, it's
heee . . . but secondly, that is the command . . . just doing "sudo
man" gets the inquiry response shown above . . . man man gets the actual
man . . . m
