Clean install of 17.10 64 bit Alpha 2 has resulted in problems ..viz
1 Synaptic Package Manager,fails to open from Desktop Icon and Fails to
install selected programmes from the repo, ie when APPLY
button is clicked nothing happens
2 Cannot instal anything from USB stick ie GRADIO or SPOTIFY
