on my older desktop it's using .cache/lxsession/Lubuntu/run.log and
referencing xdg/Lubuntu.
also if I open a terminal and run "env" I find:

until lightdm is loaded.
Similarly at shutdown all I see is a black cursor and it's hard for a not
advanced user to realize the shutdown is still in progress.
any help to get this fixed would be most appreciated.

Hi,
I've been trying to figure out what's going on with ssh-agent on lubuntu
and was hoping somebody could give me a hint.
On a xenial fresh install, when lxde gets launched, I see the following:
spike 28549 0.0 0.0 11140 320 ?Ss 08:48 0:00
/usr/bin/ssh-agent /us
s not working while it's
working on a lubuntu CD install so there's still something different
somehow...
thanks your help,
Spike

I've been unable to figure out.

would love to figure out what's up with the differences that break sogou,
probably related to something with language prefs and the fact that ibus is

ah, I hadn't realized there was an alternative iso for lubuntu too. I will
test with that, thank you, if it uses the same d-i setup and not ubiquity
that may be just what I need.
thank you again for your help,

However sogou is the most popular input method for chinese and I'm asked to
support that.
