I have lubuntu-core installed and running on this machine, what do I
need to install to get the "system settings" (or whatever it's called)
on the menus? Specifically I want to be able to set the display

Yes, OK, that's the way that it can currently be done but there really,
really should be an easier way. In general to start a script from the
command line all one needs to do is type the name of the script, there
should be a launcher applet that emulates this.

Is there not, maybe, an applet for running programs from an icon on the

As per the subject, is it possible to add custom applications to the
Application Launch Bar? I.e. if I want to be able to launch a script I
have written, or I want to add some parameters to an existing

It seems that lxterminal knows about the size parameters of the

Is there any way to position an lxterminal window when starting it?

I'm used to being able to right click on URLs (and other things such as
E-Mail addresses) and getting a useful menu of things to do with them.
Can LXTerminal do this or, if not, what's the lightest and/or most
lubuntu compatible terminal that can do this?
