For what it's worth: I download it using the browser installed with Lubuntu:

The OP mentioned 16.04, so installing gdebi makes no sense, but

this will install Google Chrome Browser on your Lubuntu distro.

disappointments. And Ali fixed the the disputes queit well, though you
