There are other important stuff to add. For instance, describing manual partitioning, which is not mentioned in the Ubuntu one. Responsibilities will be delegated as they come. I am not entirely sure about what we will need in the future, but as they come, we'll take care of that within the team.

You don't need a book to be honest. I wiki manual would be just fine. Makes keeping updates much easier. What exactly would this manual be teaching that the official Ubuntu book would not relate to? The only real difference is the desktop environment. A suitable manual will be how to operate LXDE.
