@Eric Hey any bit counts... if we generate enough activity we may get
attention, and that could get us a lead to find the 'right' person to
talk to. I contacted the person who posted that message you referred to
in hopes that they are still interested in finding a solution. I

I just did an update and got an update on the lubuntu session, so who
knows there may be no bugs now (my panel is highly configured and I
haven't rebooted today)
There are still some packages that haven't made it into trusty, so make
sure the programs you like are around.

Just meant to click “affects me too,” on the bug report this morning,
but it didn’t appear. While trying to find it, figured I needed to
log-in, but I added another bug instead? I tried to delete it, but I
didn't know how.
The wiki list feels like it's really coming along even though we're onl

Hi,
I subscribed to the 14.04 developmental ppa today. 14.04 is rolling along

used to opening the applications menu to shutdown any way, and I simply
made a desktop file called shutdown.desktop with
lxsession-logout as the exec...
Thanks for giving such a detailed report on this. I think I will shortly dl
14.04 and start running it around. Thanks for the heads up about the no
shutdown button
