I agree, that this is a very good idea.
So either to include it into standard Lubuntu, or to have a special
flavour, if there is not space enough on the standard 'CD' iso file, or
a 'DVD' iso file, where more software can be bundled. It is very common
to install from a USB drive anyway, and the 'D
Hi Julien and all the other Lubuntu users,
These are great ideas for the future. I'm looking forward to an LTS
version of Lubuntu. It should continue to run well with most computers,
new, 'middle-aged' and old.
I know there are so many aging computers around, that are still healthy,
and I hope th
Hi Jonathan,
apart from long time, no chat & I hope you are well, what I mean is elder
computer hardware. I'm sorry if this was not evident in my earlier post.
Are, for example, the PPC users going to be dropped BEFORE 14.04, or, are
we going to support them as LTS.

Phill.

Hi All,
I can't drag and drop files in PCManFM. I can't do it between folders and I
can't drag files from folders to the desktop and vice versa. For now, I
click on a file and then use ctrl+C and Ctrl+V. If I want to move files, I
first have to copy them, then delete the original.
I can drag stuff
as in Lubuntu, Xubuntu, Kubuntu, Ubuntu.
if ever you find something that doesn't work or could be improved, please
file a bug immediateness.
Telling the various mailing lists would help too.

I third Fernando's suggestion for accessibility both he and I are blind
GNU/Linux users and would love to see Lubuntu accessible. I've done a
lot of work with it and have most of it accessible. The only problem I
have right now is making the panel accessible to the Orca screen reader.

Hi Boss,
we did discuss, and finally went with a new desktop system once before.
Provided, as then, we have a Plan 'B' (which we used), I'm sure none of the
testers will have issues. (Well, they can scream at me! )

Julien,
I like everything you brought up. Can we add accessibility to the core
objectives?
I can bring testers, translators, and even coders to help. I just need
to know that we can include the approximate 15% of the world population
that has some kind of disability.
Thanks,

Hi,
First and following Phill, I want to thank you all for this 13.04
release. Releases after releases, it seems to go smoother than the
last one :-)
However, it's time to think about the future. During the last cycle,
there were a lot of news from Canonical about the future of Ubuntu.

Hi Julien,
Now, that we have launched Raring, it's time to start thinking about the
future of Lubuntu :-)
One thing that I hope we can achieve, is to make the next version able
to cooperate with Pentium M, that has no pae flag, but still the ability
to run i686-pae kernels of *ubuntu.

Hi PCMan,
usb-creator-gtk doesn't work in Lubuntu Raring, but
usb-creator-kde works. I tested it right now: In an installed Lubuntu
Raring session, I installed usb-creator-kde, and made a persistent live
USB pendrive. I tested the pendrive and it works.
Is usb-creator-kde made with Qt?
