Hi John,
now you have it clearer in your own mind, may I point you to this area [1].
It is vitally important that bug reports are raised, the clock is ticking
and we really need the bug reports filed in a format that the devs can work
with. This is even more important as you have a proposed fix.
Hi Lars,
off the top of my head issue it to Ubiquity, that is the system that
does the installs. The devs can always re-allocate it later. Does it try to
make a bug report? If not, then I'd suggest using the bug-report function
to get the data off the system.
Thanks,

I forgot to mention on my last email that the Quality Assurance testing of

Can you give a "test this" and confirm if it works. As you are more than
aware, if I am to approach an up stream group then all the individual 'I
got it to work for my computer' means exactly zero. What is required is a
fix that works for all.
PPC is running out of time, you have 'fixes' b
Hi,
next time anyone asks why I call Julien "Boss", have a look at the
graph[1]...
No, we cannot do everything but it is a good looking graph :)
Thanks boss, you, the other devs, artwork, support, testers et all are the
team that make up Lubuntu... All of you are amazing and is a pleasure to
get a proposal that I put up stream, else there will
not be a 12.10 release lose 12.10, then the chances of 13.04 are
slightly less than zero.

Phill.

Hi Jonathan,
sorry for the long delay, it was weekend and Nicholas has been in meetings
today.
For server-ppc, what is needed is where the test cases are simply wrong
(such as check the processor you have) etc. and which are applicable.
Whilst I can try to do an install via qemu (and most certain

Hiyas...
Desktop, or the lubuntu-meta package? The removal of the meta package is
expected behaviour.

Ooooh,
that does not seem normal behaviour!
@ Julien: Any thoughts?

Hi UH,
from the horses mouth, lubuntu-desktop is the meta package and can be
safely accepted for removal.
@ Karl, I did have a dig through L-FAQ, but couldn't find the section
noting this ( it was there..)
thanks,
Phill.

Hi Adam and PPC guys,
I'm going to give you the honest truth. We are now too late to sort the
issues out.
I know that some of these bugs go back a long while, some are recent. I
cannot see any help in my complaining to SABDFL over what has occurred
after the changes after A3.
I propose that PPC

Can you good people now concentrate on getting the PPC-FAQ area updated?
That will be the required area for the release notes. Don't forget, Lubuntu
are now in charge make a good job, else I'll be filing complaints! :D

Phill.

Hiyas,
the current topic is that we have a link pointing to PPCFAQ is the place
they need to head. I'm not sure that
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Lubuntu/Testing/PPC is the correct place for a set
of release notes / wiki etiher? Maybe better at on the Doc FAQ area [1] ?
The page has been created and b

Hi Guys,
the lubuntu-faq-ppc[1] page was simply thrown there as it has the template
:) The entries on it need replacing with your own suggestions as to what
newcomers to lubuntu 12.10 PPC will face to install it. It is NOT a
replacement to PPCFAQ, just a quick guide as to how to get the 12.10 PPC
Hi guys,
for those who did not catch the community-athon, in one the question and
answer sessions PPC was discussed.
