unfortunately asking lubuntu to remove python-xdg also will remove
lubuntu-software-center and zeitgeist (I'm not sure of zrigeist, but LSC is
needed !).

This isn't necessary. The patch which is in the openbox version 3.6.* git will
allow to
keep python-xdg, and use -- probably fbautostart instead (very light, very
small) -- which
then will be a must have. But it's yet a bit soon to talk about it, as the
