Lubuntu is definitely lighter than Xubuntu. On my 64 bit desktop HTOP shows now memory usage data as follows: Lubuntu 15.04 (updated): 293 MB (LXDE) and 282 MB (in Open Box) Xubuntu L15.04 (updated): 383 MB (XFCE DE) and with LXQt 0.9 DE: 430 MB These are of course only ballpark figures immediatel
