Anyone know why the Saucy Final ISO's are marked disabled on the
tracker page?

Hi,
an update.. there will be a further re-spin of the DE ISO's. The one
currently being carried out is not for that bug. The next re-spin will be!
Meanwhile, I've nearly finished the alternates and will be able to also
"dive in" for the DE's (provided they don't rebuild the alternates for some

Does this mean there will be at least one more respin?
And should we focus on some particular features when testing the desktop
isos?

The fixes coming in are going to be for ubiquity, specifically the
partitioning part of it. So, provided you can do the installs as per the
test cases, it will be okay. I'm not sure when the next re-spins of DE will
arrive, I don't know if they're holding some of them back so as to attempt

Those look like the bugs under discussion now.
the 2nd one is at

the 1st one to hand.
Have a look on

I just finished testing the side-by-side install using the 20131016
PPC Live ISO and got the #1240532 bug--dimmed Install and Back
buttons. The Quit button is clickable, but after 5 minutes it hadn't
actually quit the installer. The power button icon in the bottom right

The iso tracker reports both PPC builds as being over sized. The desktop

All the alternates have just been respun. I've no particular idea why, but
am surmising it is because of the server respins. I'll do the amd64 and

Re: Install (auto-resize) in Lubuntu Desktop i386 for Saucy Daily
bug 1240532 is wiped but bug 1240622 is still alive, so it won't let me
install on the internal drive, device /dev/sda. But I can install
side-by-side on the USB 3 drive, device /dev/sdb.

Hi Nio,
mention the bugs as 'grey' bugs so that we can pick them up for the release
notes. I do, however, think that they are not particular to lubuntu but owe
their cause to ubiquity for the in ability to 'see' the other drive (try
using the alternate installer to prove / dis prove this theory).
saucy-desktop-amd64.iso - continued testing
- I have tried installing to a whole disk (in KVM), and it worked
without any problems at all :-)

- I have used 'something else' at the partitioning table (in my
Toshiba), and report the following.
